About this work

That the mind is a house is not a new, modern concept.
In the movie adapted from the book Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, Mr Rochester asked Jane:
"Where do you find such coolness?"
"In my head, sir," replied Jane Eyre.
"The one I see on your shoulders?"
"Yes, sir."
"And has it other furniture of the same kind within," questioned Mr Rochester further.
"It is well stocked, I hope, sir," answered Jane cautiously, but with confidence.
At the time of its writing, the novel was being criticized as well as praised for its freedom of expression, realism and moral ethics, especially for a woman author.
TripleStoreyDaisy House would not arise to the same height of criticism nor praise, but the idea that we can "well stock" our heads with furniture, is of a similar principle.
