About this work

“TamariskTree House” is part of The Mind is a House digital vector art series.
It was inspired by Genesis 21 verse 33 where it says that Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in a foreign land and called there on the name of the Eternal God. I wondered why he planted a tamarisk tree for shade since it is such a slow growing tree? In Hebrews 11 it says that Abraham’s faith pleased God. He had faith that his future generation would come to rest under the shade of the tamarisk tree since its meaning is hope and life. He did not have the power to bring this about, but he put his trust in an unseen, but living God.
Just before a beloved friend of mine died unexpectedly, she conveyed that she saw lots of tulips in my life. She therefor sowed a positive seed in my thinking, since tulips mean deep love. Thus is my endeavour to increasingly choose hope to mingle with unconditional love in my life.
The intention of the "TamariskTree House" is to encourage us to dig into the depths of our thought patterns:
How do we believe and act out our faith in a manner that will impact future generations and on those around us?
How do we live according to our purpose in this earthly life so that we can make a difference to this world?
How do we choose to enhance our thinking in order that our thoughts can make a positive impact on our own future?
